Who we are:
Pisgah Methodist Church exist to glorify God by proclaiming Jesus Christ, forming disciples shaped by Scripture and grace, and bearing fruitful witness to the renewing work of the Holy Spirit in our lives and the community of Lincolnton, NC.
Statement of Faith
Pisgah Methodist Church is Global Methodist Church.

Here at Pisgah, we joyfully confess the historic Christian faith and live it out in the Wesleyan tradition.
-
We believe in one God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who created all things and whose love is revealed fully in Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
-
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and are the primary authority for our faith and life.
-
We believe Jesus Christ is Lord, fully God and fully human. He lived among us, died on the cross, rose bodily from the dead, descended into hell, and reigns forever. Through Him, we are forgiven, restored, and receive new life.
-
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who draws us to Christ, assures us of God's grace, forms us into holiness, and empowers us to love God and neighbor.
-
We believe all people are created in the image of God, yet fallen and in need of salvation. We are saved by grace through faith, and God's grace not only forgives us but transforms us, leading us into the lives of holiness and love.
-
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship, make disciples, serve the world, and bear witness to God's kingdom here and now.
-
We celebrate the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion as means of grace through which God meets and nourishes our faith.
-
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the renewal of all things, and the sure hope that Jesus Christ will come again.
-
We believe in the power of prayer and that God in Christ still does wonderful and miraculous things when we boldly approach His throne in prayer.
In all things, we seek to live for the glory of God and the good of the world, proclaiming with the Church in every age: Jesus Christ is Lord.
