Meet our Pastor
Pastor Justin Scoggins serves as the Pastor of Pisgah Methodist Church (Global Methodist). He is theologian at heart, with a Doctorate of Theology from Evangelical Seminary in Myerstown, PA; with a concentration in semiotics. He is a shepherd by calling and a teacher of Scripture who loves helping others see the beauty, depth, and coherence of the Christian faith.
His story
Justin came to Pisgah from Winter Haven, Florida where he was an associate director of a homeless mission called The Mission of Winter Haven. He loves people and is passionate about preaching the Gospel with clarity, imagination, and conviction; always rooted in the authority of Scripture. He is shaped by the wisdom of his ministry experience and the historic Church. He is attentive to the questions of everyday life and he centers his ministry on forming disciples who love Christ with heart, soul, mind, and strength. He has been active in ministry for over a decade. Serving as young adult pastor, youth pastor, and associate pastor. ​
He is joyfully married to his wife, Holly, and together they are raising their three children in the life of the Church. When he is not studying, preaching, or writing; you can find him visiting our congregants and being involved in the community. He loves the outdoors and chasing down the next great story that points to the glory of Christ.
